Hi and thanks for stopping by! My name is Paul Henschel and I’m the senior pastor here at Osco Community Church. My wonderful wife, Tobi, and I have been married since July of 2007 and have three young boys, Caleb, David, and Luke.
My passion is to see and be a part of God’s transformation of people’s lives through the good news of Jesus Christ, whether for the first time or in a growing relationship with Him. When I’m not busy with ministry, I enjoy relaxing at home with my family or going on various adventures with them (the boys especially love parks). Being a native Wisconsinite, I also cheer on the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks.
After growing up in Racine, WI, I went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Studies from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL (where I also met Tobi) and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. While attending school I was a part of the ministry at Forest Preserve Bible Church in Chicago, first as an intern then as an associate pastor. A year after graduating seminary, my wife and I moved to Marinette, WI where I became the solo pastor of Grace Community Church. I served in this position for six years before becoming a part of the ministry here at OCC in August of 2015.
